Blue Belt Pattern:
Is named after the patriot Ahn Joong Gun who assassinated Hiro Bumi Ito, the first Governor-General of Korea, known as the person who played the leading part in the Korea-Japan merger. There are 32 movements in this pattern to represent Mr. Ahn's age when he was executed at Lui Shung prison in 1910. |

2. Move the left foot to a left sparring stance to B with a left reverse knife hand side block. | |||
3. Left front snap kick to B. | |||
4. Lower the left foot naturally to B and then move the right foot to a left rear foot stance to B with a right palm upward scooping block. | |||
5. Pivot right on the left foot as move the right foot to right sparring stance to A with right reverse knife hand block. | |||
6. Right front snap kick to A. | |||
7. Lower the right foot naturally to A and then move the left foot to a right rear foot stance to A with a left palm upward scooping block. | |||
8. Move left foot to left sparring stance to D with left knife hand guarding block. | |||
9. Slip the left foot to left walking stance to D with right upward elbow strike. | |||
10. Move the right foot to right sparring stance to D with a right knife hand guarding block. | |||
11. Slip the right foot to right walking stance to D with left upward elbow strike. | |||
12. Move left foot to left walking stance to D with high twin fist vertical punch. | |||
13. Move right foot to right walking stance to D with twin fist upset punch. | |||
14. Move right foot on line CD and then pivot left on the right foot as move the left foot to left walking stance to C with a twin forearm high X-block. | |||
15. Move left foot to left sparring stance to E with a left high back fist side strike; immediately... | |||
16. Slip the left foot to left walking stance to E as twist the left fist left until it forms backfist downward; immediately... | |||
17. Right high punch to E. | |||
18. Bring the left foot to the right foot then move the right foot to right sparring stance to F with a right high back fist side strike; immediately... | |||
19. Slip the right foot to right walking stance to F as twist the right fist right until it forms backfist downward; immediately... | |||
20. Left high punch to F. | |||
21. Bring the right foot to the left foot and then move the left foot to left walking stance to C with a left double inner forearm block. | |||
22. Slip the left foot to left sparring stance to C with a left middle jab. | |||
23. Pivot left on the left foot and right side piercing kick to C. | |||
24. Lower right foot to right walking stance to C with right double inner forearm block. | |||
25. Slip the right foot to right sparring stance to C with a right middle jab. | |||
26. Pivot right on the right foot and left side piercing kick to C. | |||
27. Lower left foot to left sparring stance to C with left forearm guarding block. | |||
28. Slowly slip the left foot to left walking stance to C with a right palm downward pressing block as bring the left palm upward. | |||
29. Move the right foot to right sparring stance to C with a right forearm guarding block. | |||
30. Slowly slip the right foot to right walking stance to C with a left palm downward pressing block as bring the right palm upward. | |||
31. Slowly bring the left foot to the right foot and pivot left to close stance toward A bringing the right fist in front of the left shoulder horizontally. | |||
32. Move right foot to right fixed stance to A with right U-shaped double punch. | |||
33. Bring the right foot to the left foot then move the left foot to a left fixed stance to B with a left U-shaped double punch (Ki-hap!). | |||
34. End. Bring the left foot back to close ready stance B. |
