Red Belt Pattern:
Is named after the Hwa Rang youth group which originated in the Silla Dynasty in the early 7th century. This group eventually became the driving force for the unification of the three Kingdoms of Korea. The 29 movements refer to the 29th infantry division, where Tae Kwon Do developed into maturity. |

2. Move the left foot to B to form a sitting stance facing D with a middle palm pushing block to D. | |||
3. Right middle punch to D; immediately Left middle punch to D. | |||
4. Pivot right on the left foot as move the right foot to right sparring stance facing A with a right twin forearm block. | |||
5. Lower the left forearm and left middle upset punch to A while pulling the right fist to the front of the left shoulder. | |||
6. Slip the right foot to a right fixed stance to A with a right middle jab. | |||
7. Pull the right foot back to a right natural stance to A with a right knife hand downward strike. | |||
8. Move the left foot to left walking stance to D with left forearm low block. | |||
9. Move the left foot to left walking stance to A with left middle punch. | |||
10. Move the right foot to right walking stance to D with right middle punch. | |||
11. Pull the left foot toward the right foot to a right natural stance at the same time gripping the right forefist with the left palm. | |||
12. Right side piercing kick to D pulling both hands to the hip. | |||
13. Then lower the right foot to right sparring stance to D with right middle knife hand side strike. | |||
14. Move the left foot to left walking stance to D with left middle punch. | |||
15. Move the right foot to right walking stance to D with right middle punch (Ki-hap!). | |||
16. Pivot left on the right foot as move the left foot to left sparring stance to E with left knife hand guarding block. | |||
17. Move the right foot to right walking stance to E with right spear hand thrust. | |||
18. Move the right foot on line EF then pivot left to left sparring stance facing F with left knife hand guarding block. | |||
19. Right high turning roundhouse kick to F. | |||
20. Lower the right foot to F and then left high turning roundhouse kick to F. | |||
21. Left knife hand guarding block. | |||
22. Pivot left on right foot as move left foot to left walking stance to C with left low forearm block; immediately .. | |||
23. Step left foot to left sparring stance to C with right middle punch toward B. | |||
24. Move the right foot to a right sparring stance to C with left middle punch toward A. | |||
25. Move the left foot to a left sparring stance to toward B C with right middle punch, immediately | |||
26. Slip the left foot to a left low walking stance to C with a twin forearm low X-Pressing block. | |||
27. Pivot left on the left foot as move the right foot to C in a sliding motion forming a backward sparring stance (toward D) with right elbow thrust to C | |||
28. Pivot left on the right foot as bring the left foot to the right foot to a close stance toward B with a left low forearm block and a right inner forearm middle side block at the same time. | |||
29. Change the position of the forearms. | |||
30. Move the left foot to left sparring stance to B with knife hand guarding block. | |||
31. Bring the left foot to the right foot then move the right foot to right sparring stance to A with right knife hand guarding block (Ki-hap!). | |||
